Today, I read Review about Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge on Mouthshut.com – The Consumer Review Website
Ok, this is a COOL film. This is a youth film. This is a modern and a FACEBOOK film. This is a confusion film as well.
Malvika (Tara D’souza) & Preity (Saba
Azad) are room mates, like Vishal (Sadiq Saleem) & Rahul (Nishant Dahiya). Rahul is a pop singer where Malvika is an aspirant fashion designer. Preity, a photographer with vision and Vishal a writer with brain is always on a fight. In a concert where Rahul sings for a large audience, Malvika just go crazy on him and go onstage to say she is his fan. Preity gets attracted to Rahul and
when Malvika is almost to reject a fake friendship request in facebook (which was sent by Vishal for he is now crazy in love with Malavika)....oops...are you confused? Never mind. The two room mates fake the facebook ids and the pop singer and fashion designer meets and somewhat like each other. Problem begins for the fakers and the story of Mujhse fraaandship Karoge begins.
This is for the new generation, the facebook generation. Then, the message is little uncool for the newgen as it says talk our heart face to face not facebook to facebook. How mean! As such there is no big story to call it as a story but the 1 hr 40 minutes or so film is giving you a feel of as in a college. From the beginning till the end the story revolve around the college campus, hotel and parties. Screenplay is very good in the first half where the second half got little unsettled. In this second segment the well defined characters getting shaky in confidence which keeps viewers under confusion. At one point we may think even to ask ’who loves whom’...and, we come to a stage, yes, somebody loves somebody but still isn’t cool? Despite such confusions the youth energy moves the film forward and we somewhat likes the movie.
Dialogue writer of the movie need special mention as they are intelligent and witty. Make up artist of Saba gets some rest at work which shows.
RATING: 4/5
