Review on - Vanishing Acts by Jodi Picoult

Today, I read Review about Vanishing Acts - Jodi Picoult on Mouthshut.com – the Consumer Review Website.

Guys, you have already read and added your valuable comments to my Diary Post. I tried to search this book on MS, didn’t find it and finally ended up in writing it as DP. Now, correcting my mistake and uploading a review on the advise of Jams (Javeed) and KM (Khulamunh). Thanks for being around as always.

Your father is arrested for kidnapping. You were the child he stole.

As they say, the first impression is the last impression; I share the same gesture for this book: “Vanishing Acts”. Jodi Picoult is someone who can detach a person from everything except her valuable asset: Writing. I’m amazed how come she writes so well. She’s a wizard who knows what one would like to read when turning the next page. Her writing skill is impeccable. She conveys the most heart-warming lines in play of words. Be it her rebelliousness script or wheedle relationship between family members, she has an art of conveying the best in reaching many through her blissful writing.

Yeah, I’m thinking about family, relations, emotional bond and harshness of life. She has left me spellbound. I don’t have any idea how will I set myself free from her magic. The time when I read “My Sisters Keeper” she left an impression of turning it into a poem. This time, nonchalantly, she has left me engulfed in my own thoughts. I wish, I could have conveyed my feelings in the same way as she did. It was fiction but how does it matter as long as I can relate it to myself.

RATING: 5/5.
