This is the 10th phone we are buying. I was initially planning to buy Sony Ericsson S312 or Spiro. If you want good music and it is your main criteria, go for Sony Ericsson. Having used almost all brands (mostly Nokia) available in the market this time I planned to buy a brand other than Nokia.
Visited The Mobile Store, but was disappointed to find they have very less collection of Ericsson mobiles. My budget was around 5000. Finally decided to go for Samsung. The salesman displayed a wide array of Samsung phones within my range- Metro 3530, Hero E3210, Metro C3200, Samsung Chat. The Nokia phones that caught my sight were C2-01, Nokia X2. Finally settled for Samsung Metro 3530.
What caught my sight?
The phone looked muscular. The keys are very well spaced. The display is big and clear. The chrome finish really is an eye-catcher. I was fascinated on seeing the metal body of the phone. The phone has a very distinct shape, you can really feel the phone in hand. Some years earlier I owned a L6i, which too had a metal body. The phone made me remember of my L6i.

My verdict:
Looks: Downright Sexy 9/10
Camera: Pretty good Night mode is fabulous 8/10
Ergonomics: Well I can rate it a 8/10
Sound:
Loudspeaker – Fantastic, I would rate it a 9/10
Headphones – Well I knew only Ericsson could pump out the best sound but Samsung guys have done it even better. Hats off to them. I would rate it a 9/10.
User Interface- This is where Samsung needs to work on. I did not feel the UI fantastic. Yet for first time users you can rate it a 8/10
Keypad- Feels very light and out of place. 7/10
